British Fintech Company, Digital Bank Revolut raises $800 led by Tiger Global & SoftBank in the last funding round on a valuation of $33B in July 2022.
CEO Nikolay told JaneMBA that the fund raised will be used for marketing, international expansion, and research & development. After this round, Revolut will become the second private startup to become a unicorn after Klarna (BNPL company). CFO Mikko Salovaara address reporters that we make a six-fold valuation on $5.5B revenue last year. This year we don’t have any plan to launch public offerings but we will soon after getting a sizable amount of funding.
